What are you shooting for in your ministry? As you disciple young men and women? Have you ever made a “wish list” for your students? Several years ago our team considered this question so we would know better what we were shooting for and be intentional about doing it. If you shoot for nothing, you will always hit it. We wanted to think holistically about our students and give them the vision, knowledge, skills, and character they would need to walk with Christ for a lifetime passionately pursuing the fulfillment of the Great Commission in their life. Here is what we came up with. Don’t feel overwhelmed that you need to impart all of this, that what the church and the rest of their lives is for. My goal is that you would have worthy categories to pull from, use these ideas in your ministry and be more focused and intentional with your students. You are shooting them out and they will change the world. May it be in godly ways, for godly reasons, for the glory of God!
